Job description

Safran Engineering Services UK Limited have a vacancy for a Mechanical Design Engineer - Aftermarket to be based at our Safran customer site in Brackley, Northamptonshire.
The role will involve delivering design solutions (Catia V5), producing designs to meet cost and weight targets, together with designing, modelling and drafting a variety of suite components to meet programme requirements.

The successful candidate will participate in design reviews throughout each phase of New Product Introduction and be responsible for selection and application of appropriate materials and processes.

The role will also involve checking packages of work from other designers and an offshore team, releasing drawings and models into the approval process, ensuring the successful integration of each design element within the product as a whole.

You must be self motivated and capable of independent decision making and possess a good working knowledge of BMS documents, ECR's, Permits, Concessions etc.
