Job description

With the continued growth and demand within the Global Aerospace market, Supply Chain Management is critical for long term success and sustainability. With this in mind, our Supply Chain Department utilises three key areas to support this; Supplier Quality Assurance, Supplier Performance Management and the Procurement of goods.

An exciting and challenging opportunity has become available for the position of ‘Supplier Performance Leader' at Safran Landing Systems. Reporting directly into Supplier Performance Manager, we are seeking a talented individual who is looking to develop and succeed within this fast paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Pro-actively manage the relationships across all functions both internally at Safran and externally within our Supply Chain
• Manage a portfolio of Local and Global Suppliers to ensure Safran Landing Gear sites requirements are met
• Compile and monitor action plans for under-performing Suppliers for both Local and Global Safran sites ensuring performance is restored to an acceptable level
• Lead / participate in multisite Supplier business reviews with a Safran cross functional team
• Promote Safrans approach to Supplier Management and what is expected within the Supply Chain
• Work within a Cross Functional Team to ensure successful industrilisation of new product occurs within the Supply Chain
• Launch, coordinate and execute key business practices in regards to logistic conditions (Logistic Executive Agreements) and Risk Assessment Audits within the Supply chain
• Monitor, review and present a suite of KPIs to Internal Stakeholders so that performance and future risks are understood.

Travel specifictity

Flexibility is required to liaise with colleagues and suppliers in other time zones

Candidate skills & requirements

You have:

• Strong commercial awareness, and business understanding
• High levels of competency with data analysis
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with previous stakeholder engagement experience
• A background in Supply Chain and order book management
• Knowledge of MRP systems, preferably SAP, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

You are

• Flexible to meet business requirements, whether supporting meetings in various time zones or travel
• Able to analyse problems with a logical approach to find innovative solutions to drive change
• Confident and competent at managing your own responsibilities and projects and able to work as part of a cross functional team.
