Job description

• A corporate function that is part of the Headquarters in France (D2S/T Organisation) in ensuring the quality of the technical support provided to operators/customers worldwide
• Provide technical support to Front Offices (FO) and operators/customers which encompasses (but not limited to) the following activities:
o Formulate customized troubleshooting plan
o Provide technical solutions to difficulties faced by operators/customers/Front Offices
o Perform visits to prominent operators/customers for technical reviews
o Analyse and issue Technical Agreements to keep engines in service
o Analyse downloaded engine data and parameters as required
o Involve in contracts and program management review between Corporate and FO
o Exhibit SAFRAN Helicopter Engines (HE) products and services during Symposiums and Customer Councils
• Ensure product safety, reliability and improvement through the following activities:
o Lead investigations for in-service events
o Gather and analyse return of experience from the field and conduct investigations as required
o Review Health Monitoring Data for operators/customers under contract
o Perform ad-hoc customer visits to as part of crisis management
• Support the SAFRAN HE business requirements:
o Participate in cost optimization project (CTO+)
o Participate in digitalisation projects

Candidate skills & requirements

• Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 3-5 years' experience in MRO or technical support and customer facing roles
• Good working knowledge in Gas Turbine Engines and Helicopter Systems
• Ability to work in a multi-project and cultural environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
• Demonstrated ability to work in a highly dynamic environment
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team setting and independently
• Confident to present in front of an audience or customers
• Good working knowledge in MS Office applications
