Job description


• Responsible for managing the repair process of SafranHE-owned Engines (Pool assets), working with worldwide Repair Centers and ensuring the airworthiness and quality of available stock
• Identify production cost reduction and profitability improvement opportunities as well as with the Front Office.
• Participate in company TAT (Turn-Around-time) initiatives and meets the objectives related to the team.
• Drive customer satisfaction, internally with other departments and with operators repairing materials that will meet their needs
• Lead improvement projects as per the strategic SafranHE USA road Map.


Technical Repair management of Pool materials:

• Review the customers' requests in order to define the appropriate cost effective way to support them, in collaboration with the FO, the Field Rep and the Service Engineer
• Coordinate the repair of Pool materials with our worldwide SafranHE Repair sites and our subcontractors
• After conducting a technical analysis, and analyzing stock availability and customer needs:
- Define the level of repair, and the associated repair centers to be considered.
This process involves communication with the Field Representative, the Service Engineer and the Pre-Induction Maintenance Centre to review the
technical documents available (Field Operational Workscope, Pre-Induction Report…)
- Define the scope of work in the frame of the Gate 0 process
- Confirm the scope of work in the frame of the Dirty Review (Ritual 1)
• Analyze, challenge and approve the Technical Report by :
- Gathering all the necessary information during the Technical Review meeting with the shop and the performance team
- Optimizing the repair cost which leads to :
- Challenge overhaul manual criteria with the help of the engineering Team
- Challenge the parts allocation, by using more repaired parts instead of new parts
- Update of the scope of work (repair to overhaul, overhaul to scrap…)
- Realize exchanges of modules
- Using and maintaining the internal Pool Cost Tool which supports the cost reduction initiative
• Facilitate and lead the Gates and meetings with TMUSA repair shop and any other teams to determine progress of work to meet the TAT goals
• Initiate and manage containment of the stock for any applicable Alert Service Bulletins, in coordination with corporate team to ensure airworthiness and quality.

Additional description

Commercial aspect: additional invoicing process:

• Be the technical and commercial Pool Subject Matter Expert concerning the additional invoicing process
• Identify unusual wear and tear on Pool assets during the pre-induction and repair, and determine the previous operator responsibilities, with the help of the Field Rep, Service Engineer and Level 4 technical Support and with the objective to ensure the contracts' profitability
• Track missing parts at materials arrival
• Propose a technical analysis and a quote to the FO related


• Develops procedures, identifies problems; recommends solutions to fulfill project objectives; recommends expenditures. Has authority to act, but must inform supervisor promptly. Divulging of confidential and/or sensitive information could lead to lawsuits. Errors may lead to high risk of major damage to the organization resulting in the need to create totally new approaches.

Commercial aspect: additional invoicing process:

• Bachelor degree in a related technical field.
• Advanced mechanical/technical skills in the engine aerospace environment
• Lean sigma or project management skills
• Financial analysis skills
• Experience in delivering results and making decisions under stress and pressure, maintaining a professional and diligent behavior - Ability to multitask, autonomous and proactive
• Advanced – SAP & Microsoft Office
• Customer support experience would be an asset
• Experiences abroad working across different cultures would be an asset
• Ability to speak and understand French (professional) would be an asset
