Job description

Job Summary:
The Software Engineering Intern will work with complex software applications on a variety of networked, embedded platforms. This individual will work on a broad range of software, from Linux device drivers to system wide feature designs and implementations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Design/code/test features for the Company's entertainment system
 Work with software team to coordinate development of new software features and resolve issues
 Work with disciplines outside of software to ensure correctness and completeness of development through reviews and formal testing

Candidate skills & requirements

Preferred Qualifications and/or Education:
 Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
 Experience with objected oriented programming / design in C++ and/or Python
 Experience with Embedded Linux preferred
 Knowledge of GUI development; utilizing Qt/QML
 Knowledge of boost libraries
 Knowledge of Version Control (SVN or Git) preferred
