Job description

Safran Cabin Materials (formerly Zodiac Aerospace Engineered Materials) located in Marysville, WA is recruiting for a:

A Print Shop Technician on our Weekday PM Shift.
5pm-5am Mon-Thur and then Mon-Wed (alternates each week).
$15.00/hr DOE plus $1.00/hr shift differential.

Job duties include but are not limited to:
Hand stacking lined paper coming off of the print machine at varying speeds.
Set up and operation of equipment.
Use of viscometer, pumps, scales and hoist.
Ironing adhesive to materials.
Other production duties as assigned. 
Stocking materials as needed.
Basic housekeeping duties on equipment and within the department.
Cross train or transfer to other departments as needed to meet customer demand.    
Participate in operational improvement activities.

Candidate skills & requirements

Must be highly motivated to help us meet our production requirements.
Must be able to speak/read/write English proficiently.
Must be able to understand and follow procedures and practices established by specification or company policy.
Must be familiar with standard and metric measurements.
1-3 years steady work history is preferred.
Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
Must be able to multi-task in an effective, proficient manner.
Must be able to lift 40+ pounds occasionally during the shift. Two person lift is available.
Must be available to work overtime as required.
Forklift operation may be required (training provided).
Must be well organized and able to work under pressure.
Must possess good communication skills and the ability to professionally communicate with all levels of employees.

Safran Cabin Materials requires a criminal background check and drug screen to be completed and passed for all positions. This position is an ITAR governed position: **Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident to qualify**.
