Safran Engineering Services UK Limited are part of the worldwide Safran Group.

We have a vacancy for a Degree qualified engineer to be part of our front office based at our customer site near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
You will be the first point of contact between customer concerns and the resolution teams.
With the support of technical Focal Points, you will review, compile and link requirements for existing and new products to their resolution using DOORS.

if you have experience of reviewing existing product specifications against entries in DOORS, are able to populate new product specifications entries in DOORS, and cross check data to ensure it is complete and correct, we would like to hear from you.

Candidate skills & requirements

Essential Skills:
B Eng Aerospace Engineering (Manufacturing or equivalent).
Experience of using DOORS.
Understanding of the Systems Engineering process and Requirement Management.
Technical background to understand engineering activities.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, transverse project environment.
An effective communicator
Fluent in English - written and verbal.
Experience of customer interfacing for related technical issues
Ability to work cross functionally across the organisation .
Practical and hands on.
Computer Literate.
Awareness of industry standards, regulations and qualification requirements.

Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of ITAR controlled documents.
Understanding of generators, rotating machine and associated electronics controls.
Aircraft/Ground Transportation experience.
Good time management skills /able to prioritise and multi-task on several work packages, to tight deadlines.
Work effectively within an integrated team.
