Description de la mission

The VP Operations will report directly to the Cabin Services EVP . This position will provide leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the Company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and financial targets.

Operation Management
• Plan and direct all aspects of the Company's operational policies, objectives, and initiatives.
• Measure and interpret the effectiveness of all related processes. Provide timely, accurate, and complete reports on the operating condition of the Company.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement plans based upon the Company's goals, objectives, and KPI's. Monitor actual performance to plan and implement appropriate actions necessary to stay on target.
• Ensure Material Management is appropriately managed including but not limited to adherence to Supplier On time delivery, Inventory turns, and cash flow goals.
• Ensure that each department is properly staffed, organized, and directed to fulfill its responsibilities.
• Lead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
• Represent the Company with clients and business partners.
• Responsible for implementing and enforcing company operating standards in conjunction with adherence with Quality Management System (QMS).

Management and Development of People
• Provides leadership and direction throughout the operation organization including front office, logistic, planning, manufacturing, internal and external purchasing for the various European product support teams
• Maintains high personal standards and continually sets an example of professionalism throughout the company.
• Works with employees across the business enterprise to train, communicate, standardize, sustain and facilitate the implementation of Lean Enterprise thinking and principles
• Sets clear and reasonable expectations and provides the necessary tools and training to ensure success.
• Regularly communicates company and departmental direction and objectives.

Financial Management
• Responsible for financial performance of the Cabin Services European operations
• Develops, manages and approves team's budgets and expenditures.
• Responsible for driving the Company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, and business goals and objectives.

Additional Job Responsibilities
• Leads Continuous Improvement and lean activities of diverse scope and complexity to improve the efficiency of systems and processes in the division and/or with suppliers and customers.
• Leads synergy initiatives and benchmark between the various teams located in Europe
• Coordinate initiatives with the worldwide services

Profil candidat

Education: Master degree in technical field, such as: engineering or operations management
Experience:
• 15 years of aerospace management experience
• Proven ability to lead operations in services
• Analytical based problem solving skills
• Strong verbal communication and experience facilitating team-based process improvement activities.

Additional Preferred Skills: (not required)
• Master's degree
• 10 years of leading manufacturing operations
• Lean certification
• Six Sigma Green/Black belt experience
