Job description

General Responsibilities:

Administer and coordinate, in conjunction with the Senior Contracts Manager, all business aspects of all contract requirements and obligations between ESCO and the U. S. Government, foreign and commercial customers and contractors. This includes monitoring progress of contract requirements and coordinating administrative and corrective actions. Assist with the issuance, receipt, and tracking of performance guarantee and bonds, letters of credit, export and import licenses and other applicable documents from a division standpoint. Review initial terms and conditions of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to advise of potential problems or required changes and coordinate changes with customers. Assist with basic administrative functions such as spreadsheet upkeep and document drafting.

This is a position with the potential for growth, expansion of duties, and advancement.

Qualifications:

BS Business Administration or equivalent. Knowledge of government contracting. Three to five years experience in contracts or related work experience with previous exposure to international contracting. Must be effective in both written and verbal communication. A self-starter with the ability to anticipate potential problems and react affirmatively and efficiently to circumvent potential difficulties. High degree of independent judgment, initiative and discretion required. Attention to detail is a must.

Any paralegal type experience is a bonus.
